0 · TEST LOADER (temporary)
1 · Job
Book defaults shown — the number STAMPED ON YOUR SHOE governs. 1-1/2" and 2" hand benders vary too much to default: check the shoe.
2 · The bend
Standard 45° center / 22.5° outers.
22.5° all four — like two offsets back to back.
Take-up by size (typical hand bender): 1/2"→5" · 3/4"→6" · 1"→8" · 1-1/4"→11". CHECK YOUR BENDER — it's stamped on it.
Mark 2 lines up with the STAR (back-of-90) mark on the bender — NOT the arrow. That's the whole trick.
One bend, eyeball-finished to the bubble. Dry-check the first one.
Preset 10° pair — the little move into every box. One tap, two marks.
3 · The pull — 360° rule (counts itself)
0°
Every banked bend adds automatically — offsets 2×angle, saddles 90°, 90s 90°. Hit a box/conduit body = reset.
The Stick — marks to scale
The Result — what the pipe becomes, A to B
Plan it like a run: A is where you hook the tape, B is where the pipe has to land. The marks above make THIS shape.
Mark List — hook the tape on the end, make these marks
